Cultivate, solicit and steward mid-level donors ($500-1,199) and develop program strategies that will strengthen and optimize the membership and major gifts pipeline, while demonstrating CPM’s values of integrity, community, innovation and diversity.

Hourly Rate: $27.60-$30.63
Seattle, hybrid schedule that requires days onsite each week with other days remote

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage relationships with a portfolio of donors at the $500 – $1,199 range
- Identify, qualify, cultivate, solicit and steward individuals while working collaboratively with other members of the Philanthropy team (membership, major gifts, and planned giving) to optimize the mid-level pipeline and move donors through the donor lifecycle
- Track and analyze data from mid-level donors to create programmatic strategies for donor retention, additional gifts, and upgrades
- Meet goals for mid-level revenue, donor retention, and donor upgrades
- Cultivate relationships primarily through regular phone, email, and letter contact, as well as acting as the primary contact for customer service and donation questions for the portfolio
- Assist the Membership Campaign Project Manager in planning and executing quarterly fundraising campaigns
- Work with Membership Director and Director of Major Giving on regular donor communications and promotional material
- Serve as a well-informed representative and advocate for Cascade Public Media
- Attend development team meetings and development department meetings
- Collaborate with other team members to foster a positive and productive culture and contribute toward the overall growth of the CPM
- Occasional attendance at CPM events

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Strong written communications skills, with experience in writing direct mail and email fundraising communications
- Thorough working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Ability to analyze revenue and donor data and suggest strategies
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Ability to organize and execute mailings of varying size or quantity
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Two years of experience working in a fundraising environment for non-profit organizations, with an understanding of fundraising strategies, the donor lifecycle, and best practices
- Demonstrated successful experience and effectiveness in prospect identification, relationship building, and annual solicitation
- Experience with CRM data entry and reporting (Revolution CRM preferred)
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to work some evenings, weekends and holidays
- Ability to view data on a computer screen for long periods of time
- Ability to regularly type on a keyboard
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry parcels to designated mailing areas
- Ability to work a hybrid of remote and on-site work
