Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Program Administrator

The DEI Program Administrator fills a key role in the organization’s ongoing efforts to become an equitable, inclusive, and welcoming workplace. This includes leading and supporting efforts to attract, engage, and retain diverse employees, viewers and readers, and cultivating internal relationships with team members and external relationships with diverse communities and organizations.

Salary Range: $55,000-$65,000 annually

Scope of Position

The DEI Program Administrator will be the subject matter expert providing guidance and knowledge related to DEI principles and objectives and how they support organizational strategies, outreach and recruitment, DEI education and community relations with diverse communities.  The successful candidate will help facilitate the development and implementation of the organization wide diversity & inclusion action plans and will leverage strategies to drive positive outcomes.


  1. Assist in the development and execution of the organization’s DEI strategy including delivery of diversity & inclusion programs and initiatives
  2. Provide overall guidance and oversight of the CPM DEI Change Management Council and maintain momentum in the Council's work
  3. Provide ongoing project coordination among multiple DEI initiatives; track and manage timelines for projects and deliverables
  4. Responsible for executing organization-wide DEI communications in collaboration with HR team including updating and enhancing DEI content on intranet and internet sites
  5. Cultivate relationships with external diverse communities and organizations
  6. Assist HR Generalist in recruitment strategies to meet CPM 2025 DEI goal
  7. Help to enhance DEI education efforts, supporting the development and facilitation of new workshops, training, tools and resources to drive inclusion, belonging and retention initiatives
  8. Assist with diversity analytics, including tracking metrics, generating reports to show trends and communicating impact of diversity programs and initiatives across the organization
  9. Conduct research and stay current on new DEI programs, initiatives, diversity-related issues and best practices to develop, recommend and execute creative strategies to foster the organization’s DEI goals
  10. Other duties, responsibilities and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice


  1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources/Relations, Business Administration, Organizational Development, Communications, Multicultural Studies or equivalent experience
  2. Two or more years of demonstrated work experience in Diversity & Inclusion
  3. A passion for diversity and inclusion work and the CPM mission
  4. Experience managing or supporting DEI initiatives
  5. Ability to keep confidential and sensitive information
  6. Excellent networking skills
  7. Strong written and verbal communication skills
  8. Strong presentation/facilitation skills
  9. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage and connect to diverse groups and individuals 
  10. Strong computer skills; proficient in the use of Microsoft Office programs including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  11. Ability to act and make independent and discretionary judgment
  12. Knowledge of applicable legal requirements for public media and non-profits preferred
