Salary Range: $55,700-$62,000 annually

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES
- Manage relationships with a portfolio of donors at the $1,200-$2,499 range (approximately 400 donors)
- Create and execute a contact, marketing and communication plan for the portfolio that is focused on fulfilling the donors’ interests and passions
- Cultivate relationships primarily through regular phone and letter contact
- Solicit and close gifts from the mid-major level donors
- Identify major donor and planned giving prospects and work with other team members to move donors through the donor lifecycle
- Serve as a well-informed representative and advocate for Cascade Public Media
- Attend Major Gift team meetings and Philanthropy department meetings
- Coordinate donor outreach and stewardship efforts with the Individual Giving Coordinator
- Coordinate prospect plans with Vice President of Philanthropy, Director of Major Gifts and Senior Estate Gift Planning Officer
- Develop and maintain relationships with other Development professionals in the community
- Track, record and report key performance indicators, including portfolio value, donor retention and funnel movement between membership and major gifts portfolios
- Collaborate with other team members to foster a positive and productive culture and contribute toward the overall growth of the CPM

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES
- Adept at working with high net-worth individuals, families and have the ability to compel investment in Cascade Public Media’s mission
- Thorough working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) required
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
- Ability to identify, solicit and cultivate major donors
- Experience in a non-profit/philanthropic work environment
- Demonstrated successful experience and effectiveness in prospect identification and relationship building
- Strong donor research skills, fundraising database and membership management experience preferred
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must have a valid driver’s license or reliable means of transportation to meet requirements of the job
- Ability to work some evenings, weekends and holidays
- Ability to view data on a computer screen for long periods of time
- Ability to regularly type on a keyboard
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
